ABOUT THE OWNER
Practical knowledge.
Built on board.
A background shaped by vessel operations, field service and bringing new marine systems into service.
Behind Egni Marine is a marine engineer whose experience connects the realities of operating a vessel with the hands-on work of diagnosing, repairing and commissioning its systems.
That experience spans Chief Engineer responsibilities on LNG-powered escort tugs and hybrid cargo ferries, field service on diesel and dual-fuel engines, and engineering work aboard offshore supply and anchor-handling vessels. Working across these settings has meant dealing with machinery, electrical systems and automation as connected parts of a working vessel.
Hands-on work has included engine repairs and major overhauls, LNG fuel system maintenance and re-commissioning, and troubleshooting hybrid batteries, shore power, controls and power management systems. It is a background grounded in finding faults, carrying out repairs and understanding how equipment behaves in operation.
New vessel delivery and fleet integration have also been a substantial part of that work: rectifying new-build deficiencies, establishing maintenance routines, coordinating contractors and managing warranty claims with shipyards and equipment suppliers. This brings an operational perspective to commissioning projects and the follow-through needed after delivery.
Egni Marine draws on that background to provide on-site repairs, troubleshooting, commissioning and new vessel warranty management, with a practical focus on the vessel and the work it needs.
